Blessings? You may think I’m crazy to write about blessings from the worst year in history for physical and emotional health, employment, personal economies, and social interaction. Oh, don’t forget the short supplies of toilet paper. Well, read on. In this series of posts, you will learn how being layed off and facing a myriad of challenges, including a recent diagnosis of advanced cancer, can be viewed as blessings. 

By way of introduction, I’m married with 4 kids and 7 grandchildren. You’ll meet them in future posts. My early career focused on sales and marketing management. In my 50’s I transitioned from the for-profit to not-for-profit arena where stewardship rather than bottom-line profit was integrally woven into the mission statement and business culture. God willing, I will continue writing and posting for at least a few years beyond 2020, the baseline for sharing my perspective on life’s ups and down.
